To-do this week

Catch up on lectures online 💻

Can’t make it to a lecture? Many lectures are recorded and available through Canvas, so you can catch up on key content when it suits you. Check your unit outline or Canvas site for details about lecture recordings and other online learning materials.

Heading to campus? Make safety part of the journey 🚶

Whether you bus it via City or Parramatta Road, hop off the train at Redfern Station, or walk or cycle, always do so with safety in mind – use pedestrian crossings, traffic lights and over-road footbridges, and remove distractions like phones and headphones when crossing roads. Visit our Getting to campus page for public transport options, shuttle bus timetables, and the best routes, and plan ahead and check Transport NSW for the latest updates.

Make the most out of group work 🤝

If you're a coursework student, group learning is a key part of your studies, so it's important you know how to effectively and respectfully work with others. Our guide on group work and participating in class is a great place to start. If you need further support, reach out to the Learning Hub (Academic Language and Learning).

Haven't filled out your Census? There's still time 📋

The Australian Census was held on Tuesday 11 August, but if you haven't completed your Census yet, there's still time to submit it. Everyone in Australia on Census night is included in the Census, including international students. If family or friends were staying with you on the night, they will need to be included too.
