Be a good library citizen 🤝

Let’s face it – no one likes to study in a loud and messy space. This exam season, help keep our library spaces serene and clean by following simple steps like respecting silent zones, keeping your belongings with you (don't leave your valuables unattended!), and leaving the space clean for the next person.

🔒 Protective Services can review incidents of theft or suspicious behaviour and escalate them as needed. If you feel unsafe or are concerned for someone else’s safety, call triple zero (000) for emergency services or contact Protective Services on 9351 3333 or via the SafeZone app.

🧾 Info on reporting lost property or submitting a police report is available on our website.

Your pre-exam checklist ✅

Check your exam timetable 📅
Know when and where your exams are held by checking your exam timetable. Don't get caught out preparing for the wrong date or time!

Start revising early 📚
Getting a head start isn't always easy, but spreading out your study will leave you not only more prepared, but more relaxed too.

Get your student card and essentials ready 💳
If you're yet to collect your student card on campus, now's the time as you'll need the physical card for exams. Head to the Student Centre Cards Hub (Level 3, Jane Foss Russell Building, G02), Monday to Friday, 9 am–4.30 pm, to pick it up. Don’t forget to bring valid photo ID so they know it’s you!

Get your calculator approved 🔢
Some calculators are pre-approved and don’t need approval. If yours isn’t on the pre-approved list, bring it in to get the University sticker confirming it’s allowed in your exam. Find out which calculators are pre-approved and how to get approval on the Calculator dictionary page.

Practise under exam conditions ⏱️
Use past papers and time yourself to get into the exam mindset.

Plan your exam day 🌅
Get good sleep, eat well, and arrive early so you can start calm and confident.
