Watch out for fake calendar invites 🗓️
Scammers are sending fake calendar invites to students to trigger panic about unauthorised payments. These invites may include a meeting attachment, a phone number to call, or links to click. If you receive an unexpected calendar invite or payment notice, don’t click links or call listed numbers. Report and delete it using the 'report message' button.
If you have interacted with a malicious email or calendar invite, change your password immediately using OKTA and contact the Shared Service Centre on 1800 793 864 (1800 SYD UNI).
More guidance is available via How do I recognise phishing emails and what should I do? |
