Familiarise yourself with our support and reporting processes

We've refreshed our student support site so you can learn more about how we foster cultural diversity at Sydney, where you can find support and how to report racial discrimination. The changes we’ve made are in response to the Hodgkinson external review report and community feedback – they are part of our ongoing work to create a safe and welcoming campus for all.

Ensure you pay your Student Services and Amenities (SSAF) fee by Monday 24 March

SSAF funds are used to support a range of initiatives, from student advice and legal services to running clubs and societies. View your SSAF amount on your Student Financial Statement in Sydney Student.

Have a group assignment coming up? Learn how to work with others

If you're a coursework student, group learning is a key part of your studies, so it's important you know how to effectively and respectfully work with others. Our guide on group work and participating in class is a great place to start. If you need further support, reach out to the Learning Hub (Academic Language and Learning).

Discover Sydney Uni Sport on Camperdown/Darlington campus

Whether you're looking for a workout spot on campus, want to get involved in team sports or just want to cheer on our University sports teams, there's something for everyone with Sydney Uni Sport. Check out their website to learn about their facilities, including two health and fitness centres and an 8-lane heated swimming pool, as well as competitions, clubs and events.

Refuel on campus (without breaking the bank)

If you're struggling with finances or food insecurity, visit the FoodHub pantry on Level 3 of the Wentworth Building to receive food and other essential items for free. You'll need to register ahead of time via Humanitix, so ensure you bring your ticket with you and only visit at your allocated time.

Support for those affected by ex-tropical Cyclone Alfred

We're here to support students affected by the ongoing impacts of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred in Northern New South Wales (NSW) and South-East Queensland. Free health and wellbeing support is available 24/7 from our Wellbeing team. If you're unable to continue your studies or assessments, special consideration and arrangements may be available to you. If you wish to apply, please submit a student declaration (docx, 51.5KB) as your supporting document.

We’ve updated the Academic Integrity Policy and introduced new guidelines for AI use to support your learning, study and completion of assessments. This semester, some assessments will allow the use of AI.
