The University recently as only 10 University of Sydney students have undertaken an exchange at Bezalel and none since Semester 1 2015. We undertake regular reviews of all exchange partnerships to assess their ongoing viability. We continue to believe in the importance of international exchanges and partnerships for fostering learning and understanding, including student exchanges – and our student mobility schemes to Israel provide opportunities for our students to gain valuable insights and international perspectives into the complexities of the Middle East. Our ties with Israeli and other institutions remain in place because we are committed to academic freedom, freedom of speech, and human rights as the University's central pillars.

Celebrating Holi away from home, but the colours of joy and togetherness still fill the air! Students from Sydney and Macquarie University came together last week to celebrate Holi just like they would with family and friends back home. It was a day filled with endless smiles and lots of colour! ✨
Holi marks the arrival of spring and celebrates the victory of good over evil. People celebrate the festival with friends and family by eating sweets, playing with colourful powder called gulal, and dancing to traditional music.
Wishing all our students, staff, alumni and community around the world who celebrate, a Happy Holi ✨ |
