Your safety and wellbeing, and our expectations of student conduct

Ensuring a safe, inclusive and respectful environment is everyone's responsibility, so we wanted to remind you of our expectations and where to get support.

We have a zero tolerance for discrimination and misconduct, both on and off our campuses. This includes sexual misconduct and sexual harassment, racism, bullying, and threats to safety. If you see or hear of conduct that falls below our expectations, you can call protective services on (02) 9351 3333 and make a report to our Student Affairs Unit.

Connect with Student Wellbeing for a range of confidential and free health, wellbeing and personal support, or our Safer Communities Office for support relating to sexual misconduct, domestic/family violence, bullying/harassment and issues relating to modern slavery.

Need a hand? Chat with a Peer Support Advisor (PSA) 🙋‍♀️

Our Peer Support Advisors (PSAs) are current students studying a range of different degrees, from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds who’ve been through it and are here to help you navigate uni life, systems, support and everything in between. Chat with a PSA online or connect in person at Welcome Hub (Level 3, Wentworth Building) or at the Fisher Services Hub (Level 3, Fisher Library), Monday to Friday, 10 am–5 pm.

Know how to print, scan and copy on campus đź“„

Need your course notes or thesis printed? You can access printing, scanning and photocopying devices across our library sites, learning hubs and computer access labs. Visit the Library’s print, scan and copy page to learn more.

Collect your physical ID at the Student Centre (if you still haven't done so) 🪪

Overwhelmed by the crowds earlier in semester? We get it. But if you haven’t collected your physical student ID yet, now’s a great time to swing by the Student Centre Cards Hub (Level 3, Jane Foss Russell Building) to pick it up. Your digital ID is great for getting access to buildings, accessing our libraries and much more, but you'll need a physical student ID card for your exams, so don't leave it too late!

Beat the heat and stay hydrated 🧊

Feeling the heat creeping in? Stay hydrated with cold water available at outdoor refill stations and campus kitchenettes. Find your nearest water station on Campus Maps â€“ just search for "water stations" or "kitchenette" to find one near you.
