Members of our University community are holding an anti-violence vigil at the Gadigal Centre at 5 pm this Thursday 14 November. The vigil will create a space to commemorate the students who lost their lives in shocking incidents of individual violence this year, with staff and students from across the University sharing remarks. Staff and students are invited to participate in this moment of collective reflection and our commitment to a culture of peace, mutual respect, and anti-violence at the University. For queries related to this event, contact chris.pepin-neff@sydney.edu.au.

Unsure if you can use AI for assessments? |
Ask your unit coordinator |
You cannot use generative AI tools, such as Copilot and ChatGPT, for assessments, unless your unit coordinator has expressly permitted the entire class to use them. If you're unsure, ask, because using AI for assessments without permission is a breach of academic integrity.

Last week the Chau Chak Wing Museum popped up in Westmead Children's Hospital as part of our Western Sydney Pop-Up Museum project!
The team brought along artist Anney Bounpraseuth who lead a children’s workshop where participants were able to make their own animals and dolls from pre-loved fabrics. Anney also developed an activity box to pass on to children in the ward who may not have been well enough to join in person.
Visitors were able to view objects from our collection related to the theme ‘Repair, reuse, recycle’ including ancient artefacts and artworks. |
