Campus Access Policy review closing 30 November

The University adopted the new Campus Access Policy (PDF, 240 MB) in July this year to provide clearer information about expectations and requirements of conduct on campus.

As part of its implementation, we are running an additional review of the policy before the end of the year to assess its effectiveness and encourage you to share your views.

We want to know if you think the provisions of the policy are appropriate. Are amendments or more guidance needed? Have you identified problems in its implementation? Please let us know.

If you want to make a submission, you will need to do so by 30 November using the Campus Access Policy Feedback form. All submissions will be carefully considered, with a view to having any necessary amendments in place for Semester 1 2025.

If you have any further questions or need more information about the review, please contact policy.feedback@sydney.edu.au.

Complete the Consent Matters module to access your results at the end of semester

We're committed to ensuring you understand sexual consent and what respectful relationships look like.  You are required to complete our Consent Matters module on Canvas in the year you commence.  If you have not yet completed the module, you will not be able to access your results at the end of semester unless you have received an exemption.

If you have any questions regarding this module please contact us by emailing consent-matters.module@sydney.edu.au

Look forward to new vending machines on campus in 2025

From the end of November, existing vending machines on campus will be removed to make way for new machines to be installed ahead of Semester 1 next year. The new machines will feature a more diverse and affordable range of food and drink options.

Let's make it happen

Growing up in the NSW Southern Highlands, Maeve hadn’t thought about going to university until her teacher suggested that she might like to pursue Extension English.

Getting into the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law program meant she could study her passion Art History as a major.

Since arriving at university, Maeve has had the opportunity to take up a dream internship, launched her own youth-based culture print and digital platform, and is soon on her way to New York University to study. See how we're making it happen for students like Maeve at the Let's make it happen homepage.
